How it surfs
The Psycho Tech is what O'Neill team riders wear on cold-water shoots — from Ireland to Nova Scotia. It's the direct competitor to Rip Curl's Flashbomb Fusion and Xcel's Drylock, and consistently reviews as the warmest of the chest-zip options.
The trade-off vs a zip-free like the Flashbomb Fusion is flush resistance: chest zips let a small amount of water in on duck-dives. The upside is far easier entry, which most cold-water surfers prefer at 4/3 thickness and above.
