How it surfs
Material choice changes the feel more than most people expect. Performance Core AirCore is lighter and more responsive and sits at $155 USD. Performance Glass is stiffer and more consistent through a long turn at $146 USD. Surfers riding stiffer boards often prefer the glass version because it does not add to the overall stiffness.
Two sizes is the real limitation. Medium covers roughly 65 to 80 kg and Large picks up from there. If you are under 65 kg, the Performer or the Kolohe Andino template both offer smaller sizes with a similar all-round feel. Verdict
A signature template with a clear job: keep the speed of a Performer, add the rake of an MF, and make the tail release when the turn finishes above the lip. Two sizes is the only real limitation.
