How it surfs
Compared with the Pyzel Ghost and JS Monsta, published reviews put the Happy Everyday at the widest usable wave range of the three — the board most commonly recommended if you had to keep only one shortboard.
Best sized 2–3L above your standard high-performance shortboard. A 75–80 kg intermediate typically lands on the 5'11 (30.9L) or 6'0 (32.0L).

Recommended fin setups
- FCS II Performer (Medium) — Neutral all-round — the default recommendation.
- Futures Rasta Medium — Softer flex, easier to bank rail-to-rail in weaker surf.
- FCS II Accelerator — Step up in drive and hold when the waves get more powerful.
Verdict
The reference all-round shortboard. If you can keep only one board in the quiver, the Happy Everyday is the board that will get ridden the other 300 days a year — genuinely user-friendly in weak surf, still lively on rail when it opens up.
