As you look through your choice of surf destinations a few pop up that you have to do and see. Its time to add one more to that list. Portugal isn't just great for just a pure surf trip but for that atmosphere too. You can get some amazing waves and have choices of 20-30 empty spots but you can also go out and enjoy a safe and great surf culture at night.
It also can be a great spot for the learn to surf guests, they have plenty of sheltered spots in case the swell shows too much and you still run out and go get wet to in a more challenging spot just 100 meters away from the spot.
