Hang Ten with Skippy

  Iguana Surf Retreats and Surf Express is proud to present the first

"Hang Ten with Skippy"

Stephen “Skippy” Slater  is going on a surf trip and wants you to come along.   After years of competing on the World Longboard Championship Tour, Skipping is going on vacation.   He will be working with you daily during your surf sessions together at some of the best breaks in Central America.    Also included will be accommodations, meals, transfers, boat trip, and other goodies.   Ready to work on that barrel stall getting up to the nose quicker this is your chance.  Under the eye of Skippy, this will be your chance to get the advice to take your longboarding to the next level.        

 

The waves: 

  • Panga drops- Offshore horseshoe reef.  With the right swell this turns into a right that can peel off for over 100 yards.   The left is a little shorter but still fun. If there is wave in the pacific it will be showing here, Panga’s is a swell magnifier
  • Colorados- Breaking off of Rio Colorado,  one of our favoritesThis would be the spot to work on your barrel riding skills. No tough paddle out to this wave as it is only 20-30 yards offshore.
 

The first date of this sure to be classic trip is March 13-20.  Reserve your space now while you can.  

 

Prices will range from $672 - $1047 per person for full packages.

  • Transfers to and from Managua International
  • Lodging-In high end Condos that all have AC, Sat TV, Battery battery back up, full kitchen, and all the comforts of home.
  •  Meals: Each meal and day will be different from BBQ on the beach to Pizza night.
  • Beach party
  • (1)   Boat Trip if conditions or surf permits it.  (non-redeemable if boat trip is not used)
  • Multi Colored event rash guard so photographer and Skippy can pick you out in the lineup.
